Dear Mama

In the past couple of weeks I have been thinking about my mother who has been my number 1 fan. I love her so dearly. She has made all her challenges in life a footstool. Sometimes I don't understand the way she thinks because she has been the most innovative person I have ever seen in my life time. After matriculating from Joyce H. Motsa academy I am very appreciative. The curriculum was not easy and the teacher there demanded excellence.
Even though my mother was the only teacher, she was wearing different hats as a teacher, counselor, headmistress, superintendent, etc. Never mind that she doesn't hold any form of education certificate but she has all the wisdom and abilities to successfully complete her Doctor of Philosophy in Excellence. I just wanted to give you dear mama a shout out and say THANK YOU.

In The Midst of It All

Dear Lord,
I thank you for everything you have been to me and all the things you are about to do in my life. I ask that you please guide me on this journey to the promise land. I am aware of the desert between my life in Egypt and the Promise land never mind the Red Sea. With you God I know I can conquer this journey and be able to swim through the Red Sea. I need you now Lord especially today when my mind is cloudy I need to talk to you. Help me dear father to navigate the desert and reach the promise land. Equip me with the tools necessary to conquer the journey. Please provide me with an oasis to quench my thirst. I thank you God for being my provider. Amen
